Admit that you, like everyone, are selfish and sinful. The Bible says, "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus" (Romans 3:23–24).
God deeply desires a loving relationship with you. He doesn’t want you to try to seek him through different religions, rituals, or rules. He wants you to spend time with him and enjoy his presence in your life.
STEP 3: ASK
Ask Jesus into your life! The Bible says, "If you confess with your mouth 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9).
When I accepted God’s gift I simply said, "God, I acknowledge you sent Jesus to die for me. I admit I'm sinful and need a savior. Please come into my life and be my Lord and savior. Help me become all you created me to be. I want to live for you the rest of my life." That’s all I said.
